Equipo DRT presents its new 'OrnamentalEarth' fabric collection at Home Textiles Premium, the new, exclusive venue for Spanish design

03 September 2015

This new show runs from 17 to 19 September at the Royal Tapestry Factory in Madrid.

Equipo DRT will be presenting its new September 2015 decorative fabrics collection called ‘OrnamentalEarth’ at Home Textiles Premium, a new national event organised by Feria Valencia and coordinated by Home Textiles from Spain, the brand-name of the textile trade organisation Ateval. The event brings together all the top names in the home textiles sector in Spain and Portugal this year.

The Royal Tapestry Factory, or Real Fábrica de Tapices in Madrid will be the venue from 17 to 19 September for experiencing this Valencian firm’s new collection on a 2,500m2 stage together with some 50 other exhibitors, all “respecting the philosophy of the exclusiveness of this project”, as highlighted by the organisers, who say that this new event “has been adapted to the needs of the home textiles trade, which was calling for a different kind of show addressed to the leading distribution channels in Spain and abroad.”

Equipo DRT has made a firm bid for this new event in Spain, where we are presenting new collections, and in this sense, Home Textiles Premium is a great showcasing opportunity in an innovative space such as the Real Fábrica de Tapices”, says Arantxa Porter, marketing manager at Equipo DRT, who is sure about the aims of this first incursion on the domestic trade fair scene. “This first event will be highly attractive for interior design and decoration professionals, and is certain to become a major venue for the textile design trade.”

And so Equipo DRT’s lines called Ceiba, Moire, Suomi, Provenza, Justine, Rio, Scala and the revamped Fil a Fil catalogue will be unveiling all the #ornamentalearth# of their new textile proposals – another step forward for the firm, which creates fabric inspired by the environment and the origins of raw materials, showing purity, patterning, warmth and energy inherent in the Earth, among other qualities that break down the limits in designing their ‘Talking Textiles’.
