WATERPROOF FABRIC OR CANVAS VS. FABRIC WITH TEFLON

Another of the final technical factors in an outdoor fabric is Teflon; With this finish we ensure that the fiber repels liquids, such as water or oil. In this it is necessary to qualify: repellent does not mean waterproof. Let's not confuse the terms because repellent is that the liquid slips but if pressure is exerted it can penetrate inside.

An outdoor fabric or waterproof canvas is usually a plastic in which it is impossible for water to pass through, but outdoor fabrics have a Teflon treatment, but the fiber has a pore; one thing is that it repels water and another that if gravity exerts its force it ends up penetrating.
